Too Many Tomatoes?

we are jumping into tomato season and I am celebrating

I think it’s like Christmas when the ripe red tomatoes are finally for sale at the market stand

Tomatoes were imported to Italy from the “New World” and really not used in the kitchen until the 1600’s.

The original tomatoes were golden, Pomo d’oro… golden orbs.
