Day trip to Lucca and Sorana
Tuscans have been called Mangiafagioli forever, bean-eaters. When they are cooked as deliciously as they are here, I don’t mind.
The area of Lucca is one of the larger producers of beans in the area, but each area has something special.
We went on a pilgrimage to Lucca and to see the harvest of the rare Sorana bean in the hills above Pistoia.
