Florence is splendid at Christmas time.

This is the Mercato Centrale in Florence, the style of lights are from Southern Italy, mostly the Puglia region. I adore them.

Tomorrow I am having surgery and will be out of commission for awhile, but wanted to share a little recipe trick for the holidays.
