I moved to Florence in 1984, thinking I was coming for a month to study Italian, and then I fell in love.. with the city and then a year later with a Florentine.

This was the first thing I saw when I rounded the corner from the B&B I was staying in in Florence. It blew me away. That was just the beginning of my love affair with Florence and Italy.

Being married to a Florentine has given me a real insider’s view into living and touring like an Italian.

Slow down. Enjoy Life. One of the most essential sayings is

A Tavola non si invecchia- You don’t age at the table.
